Music now and then

Every once in a while I think about how the music industry has changed everything in the world of music. Most of the teenagers claims that they life would not be the same without music. We do not need to go far to realise this might be true, we only need to look at ourselfs. We listen to music almost everyday. While driving in the car the radio is always on. While travelling we got our earphones plugged into our ears to make the journey more pleasant. Personally when I work on my laptop I have got music always on, especially if I write an email. It makes the atmosphere a lot better.
But does it metter what do we listent to? I would not be able to write an email while Korn's music is on, but it doesn't mean that their music is not good, at all. What I am tryna say is that the music industry
influences our taste of music so hard. I think the word "influence" is really slight definicion. It is more like they control what we should listen to. And it really annoys me! I don't like Gaga, and I stubbornly stick to my opinion that without the media and all the circus around her she would not be where she is at rigth now. But I did not come to talk about her. I came to ask when did we lose the control of our taste?

I went "wow" when I bumped into this on youtube:

The real version of Young Money's Bedrock! I love this song! Has been my favourite ever since.

This girl is called Sunny Choi. Here is her youtube channel. Believe me it worths to check out her
performances! She's is amazingly talented and her play is precious!

And here we go: where is this kind of music these days? Do you hear it on the radio? Why do not they squeez it between Katy Perry and David Guetta? Or I have got a better idea: play it instead of those songs! Unfortunately the people cannot appreciate the real music. They choose the stupid overrated songs by overrated artists which they hear wherever they go. That is why I do not blame the people totally, but the music industry which has damaged our taste of music so they can earn more money!

The sound of the piano is so amazing, I could never imagine to compare it with the stupid sound effects what the really popular DJs are making. I totally understand that is a new era, we should not stuck with the past and be open-minded to the new stuff. I just beg not to forget about the real music. The classical music for example. Who listens to Bach, Mozart or Haydn these days? Only a few people who are called nasty names if others find out about it.

I do play a little piano myself as well. I was better at it years before but as I did not pratice so I have forgotten a lot. I think it is time to dig up my old sheets!

Enjoy the musci what I call "real":

And something non-piano:
